BineBoost is built by a host who rents out with Smoobu himself. What comes next is decided by what hosts genuinely miss in day-to-day work, not by a marketing plan.

    Online payment for your guests✓

    Let guests pay the deposit or the full amount by card right at booking, instead of by bank transfer afterwards. The money goes straight to your own account; BineBoost never sits between you and your guest. The biggest item on this list, and the most involved one.

    Splitting groups across several properties✓

    When a family of 8 searched but your apartments each slept 4, the search said “not available”. It now suggests matching combinations of two properties, with one total price and a single booking.

    More languages for your guests✓

    The booking flow spoke German and English until then. Dutch, Italian and French have since been added, depending on your region often the second most important guest language. That makes five.

    Spreading groups across more than two properties

    Today the search builds combinations of exactly two units. For larger parties, say two families travelling together or a celebration, three and more should work as well, still with one total price and a single booking.

    WordPress plugin

    Instead of copying code: install the plugin, enter your account key once, place the booking engine or the search bar as a block. Along with a picker for your properties, the right booking page per language, and a widget that does not break when an optimisation plugin starts rewriting scripts.

    Extras and add-ons

    Guests pick what you offer while booking: a cot, a parking space, a bread roll service, late check-out, the sauna. Charged per stay, per night or per person, under your own label, with the total recalculating straight away. So far breakfast is the only one.

    Connecting further property management systems

    BineBoost requires a Smoobu account today. We have looked into which other systems can be connected cleanly; which one comes first is not decided yet. Nothing changes for you, and for hosts on another system it means the same booking engine, whatever they keep their availability in.

    Two-factor sign-in

    An optional second factor via authenticator app for the BineBoost account. That account holds the credentials to the Smoobu account: an extra lock in front of it makes sense, even though the credentials themselves are stored encrypted.

Missing something more important? Write to [email protected]. Requests from real-world use take priority over this list. That is exactly how most of today's features came about.
